We were delighted to have been invited to participate to the Ethical Fashion Show in London which was held on the 1st of May in the beautiful setting of St Paul’s Hammersmith.
The aim of the event was to educate people into what they are buying on the high street and encourage change. The proceeds of the evening went to the Rehema project working with women who are living in extremely difficult situations in Africa, teaching them textiles skills and giving them an opportunity to provide for their families. The show featured several designers and brands showcasing the best ethical fashion. The event also hosted a panel discussion with 6 experts in ethical fashion including Guardian journalist Lucy Siegle and People Tree founder Safia Minney.
